Hellmann’s - Art of the Mayoment
In the summer of 2025 Hellmann’s hosted the “Art of the Mayoment,” an immersive pop-up gallery experience on the Lower East Side. Curated by artist and comedian Kareem Rahma — creator of the Pizza Museum and proud Hellmann’s fan. The event featured original unfinished works from five contemporary artists. Each piece was unfinished in a different way, representing that momentary escape — or “mayoment” — after a bite of Hellmann’s.
A regular art gallery was transformed into a full-sensory experience where attendees captured their own Mayoment in an Instax photo wall, interacted with a live performance artist mid-bite, and stepped into the artwork themselves.
